Jeff, however. has been a leading Landscape Architect in the greater Boston area, creating stunning and inspiring landscapes for over 25 years. Metro Boston Residence
This landscape was a complete makeover and renovation of a relatively small lot in one of Metro Boston's historic suburban communities. The new Landscape included a pool and spa area, an outdoor fireplace and terrace, a perennial garden and a rustic fieldstone seating area.
Scituate Residence
The masterplan for this historic colonial residence in one of New England's quintessential seaside communities was implemented by the owners with a loving commitment to the updated style of this elegant country manor. Improvements included a formal entry court; a guest parking area; a wildflower meadow and cutting gardens; a great lawn and seashell path.
Sudbury Residence
This Sudbury Residence began as a masterplan for the 5.5-acre property set in a rural portion of this Boston suburb. Working with the architect and homeowner the design realized their vision for this sprawling piece of property that included a separate home rec-center with tennis court, rustic natural pool and waterfall, as well as a softball field and multiple gardens and terraces associated with the main residence. The materials and details highlighted the country charm of this property.

The Oval Green with custom Arbor acts not only as an amenity and central gathering space for the residents of this exclusive community, but also provides views to a landscape with sculptural and bucolic qualities.
The Overlook at St. Gabriel's
This Amenity Courtyard with zero edge pool and custom arbor was one of Jeff's primary projects and responsibilities while working for a small boutique design firm in the greater Boston area.

Institutional Projects - Higher Education
UMASS Commonwealth Honors College
Prior to founding Land Design Studios Jeff was the Project Manager and Lead Designer for the site civil component of this $186.5 million dollar facility at UMASS's flagship campus in Amherst. A series of six buildings organized around a series of courtyards on the western edge of the campus that support both the academic, residential and social needs of its honor students.
UMASS North Residential Area
Prior to the start of L.D.S. Jeff was lead designer and project manager for the site component of this $93 million project. Completed in the summer of 2006, this project utilized innovative design solutions for storm water management and ADA accessibility requirements.
